Clanhub FAQ
General
Who can create clans?
Any registered user can create a clan.
How many clans can I lead?
There is no limit to the number of clans you can be the leader of, however you may only play a particular game for one clan at a time, and clans which share one or more leaders cannot play rated matches against each other, nor can they participate in the same knockout cup.
Why can't I play the same game for two clans?
Multi-clanning is not allowed because it means that clans can gain an unfair advantage by using mercs; temporary members who may be highly skilled.
How do I sign up for matches?
You sign up to play in matches on the scheduler page by clicking the "sign up" button next to the appropriate fixture. You can then drop out of the match by clicking the "drop out" button which appears in the same place.
Why is my scheduler page blank?
Either there are no matches scheduled for any of the clans you are a member of, or you have not entered a valid unique ID (usually a Steam ID) for the associated game(s).
Why is my status in the roster "pending"?
Either you haven't entered a unique ID for that particular game, or you entered the unique ID less than 48 hours ago. There is a 48 hour waiting time after entering or changing a unique ID before you can play in a match.
How does the availability checker work?
When you enter your availability details, this is aggregated along with other members of any clans you are in. This means it is possible to calculate how many players are available to play at a particular time, and therefore how many clans are available. You should only check boxes for times when you are definitely or very likely available. Uncertain times should be left unchecked.
Clan Leaders
Where can I challenge other clans?
If you are the leader of a clan you can challenge clans through either the clan's profile, or from the ladder page. Both assume you are entered in the same ladder as the clan you wish to challenge. Open challenges can also be made on the ladder pages. If you are set as inactive in the ladder you are challenging within you will only be able to schedule a PCW (unrated match).
How do I enter results?
Once the scheduled time of a match has elapsed, you can enter the result via the clan schedule page, or via the clan management page, by clicking on the "enter result" icon (or the "confirm result" icon if the opposing clan has already entered the score).
Why can't I cancel a scheduled match?
If it is now the day on which the match was scheduled to take place, you can't cancel the match. Instead you can give the opposing clan a default win. Also note that knockout cup matches cannot be cancelled at any time.
What is Reputation?
Reputation points are a way of letting other clans know whether a particular clan is good or bad to play against. It is nothing to do with skill, but rather the friendliness/civility/promptness/attitude of said clan. For a generally positive experience in a match +1 reputation point should be given. +2 should be reserved for times when a clan excels in the previously mentioned criteria. Neutral and negative points can be given when the clan was poor in these regards, for if the threw random insults. Clans with consistently negative feedback may have appropriate action taken against them.
